Our residential design philosophy
At the heart of our philosophy is the creation of places that we’d be proud to call home, as distinctive, diverse and unique as the communities we serve. Our team combines a huge breadth of knowledge across the residential sector, be it general, modular, high-rise, Build-to-Rent (BtR) or Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA). Whatever the project we shape a team aligned to our client’s needs and aspirations.
A case study in revolutionising urban mixed-use development
Springside’s contemporary streetscape and public realm is successfully stitched into its surrounding traditional urban fabric. A truly mixed use community has been created through the diverse portfolio and mix of affordable housing, luxury residential for private sale, Purpose-Built Student Accommodation, Build-to-Rent, an apart-hotel and hotel.
The first phase quickly became a benchmark, leading the way in contemporary high density urban design and placemaking in City of Edinburgh Council design guidance. Looking as good today as it first did, the project is a great testament to cohesive, aspirational but cost effective design, where our residential expertise is able to prosper and enable truly mixed-use, urban environments.
