With Spring nearly upon us, it comes with happy news of exam success for our colleagues.
Many congratulations to Fiona Wylie and Amelia Wronka who have passed their Part 3 exams, officially paving the way to register as qualified architects with the ARB.
Since joining our Glasgow studio in January 2024, Fiona has been involved in a diverse mix of projects including Herdmanflat affordable housing.
“I feel like the project has grown in line with my professional growth. Not only have I seen it progress from early in the planning process to now being on site, it puts into practice aspects of dementia-friendly design which I took a keen interest in during university".
“I’m delighted to have passed my Part 3. After a challenging but rewarding journey, I’m proud to reach this milestone and excited to continue developing my career by contributing to meaningful projects as an architect”.
Based in our Inverness studio, Amelia has played a key role in projects including the Corrour Research Centre, which explores the use of estate‑grown timber and sustainable approaches, and Cultarlaan which involves the adaptive reuse of a listed building. Both projects focus on reducing carbon emissions, an area Amelia is passionate about.
"Working towards my Part 3 qualifications has been a whirlwind of emotions, and I’ve been very fortunate to work on a wide range of projects with great mentors. I'm incredibly proud of this huge achievement and look forward to settling into my career as a qualified architect, eventually focusing on sustainability and conservation".
Fiona and Amelia, we’re delighted that your hard work, determination and commitment have paid off and are excited to support you as you continue to grow and shape the future of our profession.
