National Treatment Centre, Inverness
Oberlanders are leading the design for The Dewar Building, Inverness. Providing a state of the art Elective Care Centre, the Dewar Building will facilitate a collaborative environment for Health on the Inverness Campus which focuses on the development and research of life sciences. In developing the design, the project will harmonise the relationships of NHS Highland, Highland & Island Enterprise (HIE) and The University of Highlands & Islands with the aim to deliver a collaborative environment within which each of the three development partners can inspire the next generation of healthcare treatment & recovery.
The Elective Care Centre (ECC) which will provide Orthopaedic and Ophthalmology healthcare to the North of Scotland region. It will offer the opportunity beyond the regional delivery of the clinical services by promoting innovation and research through the proposed building and wider campus. This will be realised through the co-location of UHI, HIE and existing facilities at Raigmore Hospital.
