High turnout at public consultation meeting for world class mountain bike developments

Nearly 400 local residents turned out at the Memorial Hall in Innerleithen on the evening of Thursday 24th January to hear about the exciting plans for a world class bike park and innovation hub for the Tweed Valley.

Our Managing Partner Philip Macdonald was on hand to support Chris Sutton, CEO of Select Contracts and Kate Palmer of Urban Foresight in their presentations and to answer a wide range of questions from the audience. Oberlanders are now supporting preparation of final study outputs which are due at the end of February and look forward to further positive community engagement in the near future.

A summary of the evening, can be found here.
