This 27,000 sqft, Edinburgh HQ office building was built as a joint venture between Bett Properties and Premier Property Group Ltd. The building was pre-sold to ICAS and works included the fit out to provide committee rooms, training rooms, library, social spaces as well as office space.
Oberlanders provided an additional space planning service which included the selection of furniture. Externally the large roof overhang and set back upper level, solar control glass and brise soleil provide considerable solar protection, whilst maximising the natural light available. The central staircase provides a focal point and the glazed slot and tower is illuminated at night with neon lighting.
Completed in 2000 at a project cost of £3.6 M.
