Final planning application submitted on behalf of Wavegarden Scotland
Oberlanders are excited to announce that a final planning application for Scotland’s first outdoor surf park, has been submitted for Wavegarden Scotland.
Located within acres of a country park in Ratho, Edinburgh, the facility uses innovative wave technology to create world class surfing waves, with the technology creating up to 1000 ocean like waves per hour of any height and length. A high-performance hub building supports this facility, with food, drink, retail and leisure facilities. The scheme offers adventure for all ages, abilities and demographic, with inclusivity and wellness underpinning the philosophy of the park.
This has been a brilliant project to work on. In addition to Wavegarden Scotland, we have been fortunate to work with an amazing team that includes HarrisonStevens, Atelier Ten, ETIVE, Colliers International and Torridon.
